Schedule Change Requests In general, schedule change requests for changing lunches, switching teachers (including electives), or swapping the order of classes will not be approved. Valid schedule change requests can be submitted to the Counseling Office (form available in the Counseling Office, must be turned in with required signatures) within the first 5 days of each semester.
Please note that requests may not be approved if class sizes are too large or for other reasons determined by the counselors. However, the counselors can and will use their discretion on a case by case basis.
Valid reasons to request a schedule change include: 1. Schedules that are missing periods/classes 2. Concerns about possible incorrect Math placement 3. Elective changes that involve Band or Choir 4. Scheduling issues that are related to legitimate health-related reasons 5. Other unique/exceptional circumstances Student Schedule Availability (Fall Semester) Schedules will be available prior to the first day of school via ParentVUE/StudentVUE online ONLY and will be posted online by 3:30pm the last Thursday in August (before Labor Day weekend). Printed copies will be available to students on the first day of school (7th grade/Tuesday start; 8th grade/Wednesday start).
Please note that schedules may change slightly between being posted on StudentVUE/ParentVUE and the first day of school, as the counselors continue to work to balance class sizes, new enrollments, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Schedules for the Spring semester will be available on the first day of second semester as well as accessible through StudentVUE/ParentVUE.
